Once upon a time, in a small village surrounded by lush green fields and sparkling rivers, there lived a little boy named Arjun. He was kind-hearted and always ready to help others. Arjun loved to play near a huge mango tree that stood in the middle of the village. The tree was old, its branches wide and strong, giving shade to anyone who rested under it.
One summer, the village faced a severe drought. The rivers dried up, and the fields turned brown. The villagers were worried as there was little food and no water. Arjun, too, was sad. He sat under the mango tree, talking to it as he always did. “Oh dear tree, if only you could help us find water,” he sighed.
To his surprise, a soft voice whispered through the leaves, “Arjun, dig near my roots, and you will find what you seek.”
Arjun was astonished. Was the tree really talking to him? Without wasting time, he ran home, brought a shovel, and started digging near the roots of the tree. As he dug deeper, he felt something wet. Soon, crystal-clear water gushed out!
The villagers gathered around in awe. “A miracle!” they exclaimed. They quickly built a well around the tree, ensuring that everyone in the village had water. The village flourished once again, and the mango tree became even more special to them.
Years passed, and Arjun grew up. But he never forgot the tree that had helped his village. Every summer, he shared the story with the village children, teaching them the importance of kindness, gratitude, and taking care of nature.
And so, the magic mango tree stood tall, spreading its branches wide, sheltering and nourishing generations to come.
